If girls wear pants, why can't us (gay/men) wear skirts? Why not! As I've remembered mid-20th century commonly garments of men are skirts. Women first time to used/wear the skirts beginning in time of french revolution.
It might be the pants are easier to combine with other clothes, but I learned that skirts are much easier - Just pick the right color, fabric and style.
